More than a headset.
A different point of view.
Learning by doing.
A science lesson becomes a place to explore. We developed a virtual reality game for the Extramarks after-school platform, putting students inside an experiment with a teacher to guide them. Students can pick up, move and work with the equipment in the virtual environment.
Explore the education activationA first look at another world.
For someone putting on a headset for the first time, even a simple experience can feel extraordinary. This community drive introduced children and other first-time participants to VR, capturing their curiosity and reactions as they explored a new way to see and learn.
Opening up new perspectives.
Virtual experiences can offer another way to explore places that may be difficult to visit in person. At this activation, a participant with a disability tried an immersive experience. The moment reminds us to consider the individual, their comfort and their access needs when designing an experience.
When a virtual height feels real.
A city, an elevator and a plank: this custom VR game was developed for an event attended by doctors. The demonstration explored how strongly people can respond to a simulated environment. It was an event experience, rather than a clinical treatment for a fear of heights.
Discover custom VR experiencesSharing the experience.
At the Limpopo Youth Film Festival Summit in 2018, we shared virtual reality with young filmmakers and members of the community. The demonstrations gave visitors a chance to try the technology themselves and discover a different medium for telling stories.
From watching to taking part.
Another perspective from the summit: introducing young creatives to virtual reality and talking about ways to get involved. Opening the door to a new medium starts with an opportunity to experience it, ask questions and imagine what you could create.
A message you can experience.
For a South African National Roads Agency activation in Vryburg, North West, we used 360° content to bring road safety into an immersive setting. The experience focused on the dangers of texting while driving, making the message part of an experience visitors could engage with.
