Today Oculus announced the launch of the Beta program for the Oculus Link. The Oculus Link is said to allow people with a high-spec computer to play Oculus Rift games on the Oculus Quest by linking the Oculus Quest to a VR Ready computer. The Oculus Quest is a game changer and if you do not have a high-end VR headset yet we highly recommend the Oculus Quest. The Oculus Quest is a standalone 6DOF virtual reality headset and now with the link it can also be tethered to a computer allowing owners to have the BEST of both worlds!
The Oculus Quest is a game changer, it now with the Oculus Link lets you explore the richness of the Oculus Rift content library when connected to a PC, while keeping the untethered portability of Quest on the go. Making it the MUST have headset in 2019.
As the Virtual Reality ecosystem grows, developers continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible by leveraging the full power of a gaming PC on Rift. And while Rift S offers the highest fidelity gaming experience available, Oculus Quest is making it easier to get into Virtual Reality than ever before. Oculus Link adds new depth and breadth to the experiences you can have with Quest while also helping PC developers reach the broadest possible audience for their work.
We here at Virtual Reality is SUPER excited about the launch of the Oculus Quest. Before the Oculus Quest we were PRO HTC VIVE. However we have now swithed most of our developer work towards the Oculus Quest and have already developed 5 x Business Gaming solutions for the Oculus Quest.
We voted on the Oculus website and got the email today saying that the issue is now closed, and that Oculus Link is now in BETA!
